Beautiful Rain

Beautiful Rain

Rain! Oh Rain!

You drive away all my pain.

Raindrops like crystals,

Make my eyes so wistful,

I sit, just sit,

And stare, and stare.

What have you done to me?

I rise, and I twirl, and I dance with glee!

What beauty, what mist!

Freshness, I just kissed,

a raindrop.

And the lovely lightning,

Makes the night sky pink,

Sometimes frightening.

Rain, rarely you rage

But when you storm,

There’s rampage.

Sweet and fresh and wild,

Sometimes furious, sometimes mild

What a sight!

It's a delight,

Watching you fall,

Listening to your subtle call.

Hi readers! This is my very first post. I love writing poems, about anything from rain to ghosts to humour.
Would like reviews of this poem in the comments.
