Inexplicable Love: Mom

This poem is dedicated to my mom, for doing the countless things for me. Love ya!

I just love you

And I can’t explain why,

My love for you goes deep under the ocean and up above the sky

I just love you

And I can’t explain how

In a word, it’s ‘MOM’, flip it and it’s ‘WOW’

I just love you

And I don’t know it started when

It began before my birth, and it will never end

I just love you, simply can’t explain,

My love pours out in touch and words,

Or in droplets of the rain

I just love you

Though I don’t know what love is,

I show my love through care and a kiss.

Mom, your love is

The Colour,

The Music,

The Essence,

The Beauty,

and

The Strength,

of my existence

In the vast, cosmic Universe.

Yet sweet and elegant and poignant and wild,

Like the bright yellow furze.
