You quit me like...
You quit me like
A tween quits their childhood toys.
Permanently, for ever.
But sweet memories
Of togetherness exist,
Even when we don't need each other.
Like the toys and the adult
Have parted long before,
But love for the delightful past remains.
I may be in an old dusty memory box of yours,
But you still open it
And check if I'm alright.
